The Procedure
Face lift surgery is typically performed under general anaesthesia or sedation. Incisions are carefully placed within the hairline and around the natural contours of the ears to minimise visible scarring.
During the procedure, SMAS plication is performed by repositioning and tightening the Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System (SMAS) layer beneath the skin to address the deeper effects of ageing. Excess skin is then carefully removed, and the remaining skin is gently redraped without tension to create a smoother, firmer, and naturally youthful appearance.
Depending on your individual needs, a face lift may be combined with a neck lift, lipofilling, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), or other facial rejuvenation procedures to achieve comprehensive and harmonious results.
Recovery and Results
