Refresh and Rejuvenate Your Eyes
The eyes are often the first area of the face to show signs of ageing. Drooping eyelids, excess skin, and under-eye bags can create a tired, aged, or heavy appearance. Blepharoplasty, commonly known as an eyelid lift, is a surgical procedure designed to restore a brighter, more youthful, and refreshed look by improving the appearance of the upper and lower eyelids.
At French Aesthetic Medical & Surgical Clinic, Dr. Albane Bienaime performs blepharoplasty with precision and artistry to achieve natural-looking results while preserving your unique facial expressions.
What Is Blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is a cosmetic surgical procedure that removes or repositions excess skin, fat, and tissue around the eyes. The procedure can be performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both, depending on the patient's concerns.
The result is a smoother, firmer, and more youthful eye area that helps patients look rested and refreshed.

The Procedure
Blepharoplasty is typically performed under local anaesthesia with sedation or general anaesthesia.
For upper eyelid surgery, incisions are carefully placed within the natural eyelid crease. For lower eyelid surgery, incisions may be hidden just beneath the eyelashes or inside the lower eyelid.
Excess skin, fat, and tissue are removed or repositioned to create a smoother and more youthful contour while maintaining a natural appearance.
Recovery and Results
Mild swelling, bruising, and temporary discomfort are common during the first few days following surgery.
Most patients return to normal daily activities within one to two weeks.
As healing progresses, the eyes appear brighter, more open, and refreshed. Final results continue to improve over several weeks and can last for many years.
